Chennai: Chennai ganja cake selling criminals have a habit of supplying drugs to customers with various techniques. That way, they turned the ganja into chocolate and sold it to college students. It was well received by the students. The police took strict action against the ganja chocolate sellers. The Nungambakkam police received confidential information about the rampant sale of ganja cakes in the Nungambakkam area of Chennai. A special team was formed under the leadership of Inspector Mr. Chetu and Sub-Inspector Mr. Marudu to catch this gang.
The hotel tycoon was nabbed in Nungambakkam area, Vijayaroshan Deka, who ran a hotel, and Thomas, who ran a tattoo parlor. Ganja cake was seized from them. Ganja was powdered and mixed into cakes and sold. Similarly, they sold drug pills in powder form. They also sold a sticker called a drug stamp. It is said to be very dangerous. It is said to be intoxicating if applied to the inner part of the tongue. Both Vijayaroshan Deka and Thomas were arrested. Based on the information given by them, 3 more persons namely Karthik, Akash and Pawan Kalyan were arrested from Bangalore. During their interrogation, they said that drug pills and drug stamps are being sent from Bengaluru. Police investigation revealed that ganja cake weighing 150 grams was being sold for up to Rs.500/-.
