Salem: A seminar on Crypto Currency was held at Sona College yesterday on 16.10.2023 at 10.00 am on behalf of Salem Metropolitan Police. This event was inaugurated by Salem Metropolitan Police Commissioner Mrs. P. Vijayakumari IPS. and she gave a special speech. The seminar was attended by Mr. Vikram Subbaraj and Mr. Srinath Nair (Geotus) who are from Chennai and they gave special training to police officers on crypto currency. The training focused on reducing crypto currency based frauds, addressing challenges in crypto currency fraud cases, understanding technical issues, building an efficient investigative team, etc. Salem Deputy Commissioners of Police Mr. Kelathamkoyal IPS. (North) and Mr. N. Mathivanan (South) also participated in this meeting.
