Wayanad: In Meenangadi, Abdul Salim (52), Abdul Salam (48), and Abdul Sharif (44) of Meenangadi Chendakuni Puttanweet in Wayanad District were apprehended by the Meenangadi Police for forcibly entering a residence and fatally injuring their sister’s husband with a wire. The arrest occurred in Meenangadi Chendakuni Puttanweet, involving M.Aziz, a local resident of Meenangadi Chendakuni. The arrest stemmed from a complaint lodged by Aziz, relating to an incident on the night of 19.02.2024. According to Aziz’s statement, the violence was directed towards his wife. Aziz sustained severe injuries to his right arm, shoulder, head, and nose, inflicted by the assailants using a wire rod and a tire. Currently, Aziz is receiving medical treatment at a private hospital in Meppadi, where he is being treated for fractured ribs.
