Siliguri: The new office building of NJP Traffic Guard at Kashmir Colony, near Tinbatti More was inaugurated today by Mr. Gaurav Sharma IPS CP Siliguri in presence of other senior police officers.
The old Traffic Guard Office at NJP Railway Station has been converted to a New Jalpaigurí Traffic Outpost with a strength of one Officer, two Constables and four civic volunteers to ensure safe and smooth flow of traffic outside New Jalpaigurí Station.
The infrastructure at the new Traffic Guard Office of the NJP Traffic Guard will provide a better work environment to the traffic police personnel which will definitely go a long way in providing better traffic services to the citizens.
