Siliguri: On 23/08/21 afternoon, acting upon a credible input, team Matigara Police Station apprehended two drug peddlers namely Md. Safikul (25) Darjeeling District and Md. Samsher (19), Darjeeling District.
They were apprehended near old Matigara Road, Chamta bridge, and on search 40 bottles of phensedyl and 22 bottles of “Lykarex” cough syrup were recovered and seized from their possession. Both have been booked under the relevant sections of the NDPS Act.
