Siliguri: The Siliguri Metropolitan Police today introduced “TEJASWINI – Siliguri Women Safety Squad” and the team is comprising of combat-trained lady officers and the force of Siliguri Metropolitan Police. They are especially deployed to help our respected women of Siliguri. They are hitting the roads from today.
A warning has been issued to the trouble mongers who create problems for girls and women. They are asked to beware and respect women or else severe action will be taken against the violators.
The Police are grateful to SMC for the support given in making this squad.
