Siliguri: To encourage youngsters in learning good driving skills and impart knowledge of road safety measures, Inspector Mr. Subir Dutta of Junction Traffic Guard of SPC undertook a unique initiative of providing free vocational driving training to young boys and girls with the help of licensed driving schools. The initiative was flagged by CP Siliguri, Mr. Gaurav Sharma IPS today in an SDSL program organized in the Junction area in which DCP Traffic, Mr. Abhishek Gupta, DCP East, ADCP Traffic, and other officers were also present.
Apart from this, the good drivers of the area were also felicitated. Also, the efficient police personnel of the Junction Traffic Guard was also felicitated. A free health and eye check-up camp was also organized for the drivers. Besides, a digital tableau on Safe Drive Save Life was also flagged.
Siliguri Metropolitan Police is committed to undertaking all road safety measures for the safety of its citizens.
