Siliguri: A team from the Matigara police station on Saturday afternoon (19.06.2021) arrested three suspected drug peddlers from the Panchanoi bridge area near Dagapur.
The trio has been identified as Pawan Kumar Sahani (25), Md. Nazrul (55), and Kalin Barman (24),
The suspects were found in possession of a transparent plastic packet containing 265 grams of brown sugar and Rs.36, 000 in cash. A blue-colored Activa125 scooty has also been seized.
All the three arrested accused persons have been forwarded to the Ld Court for due proceedings and necessary action.
