Siliguri: On 16.5.2022 evening acting on specific intelligence Team SOG and Bagdogra Police arrested one Md Abbas of Doa Bisua, Panishala, Uttar Dinajpur and seized 115 bottles of contraband cough syrup from his possession. The motorcycle in which he was carrying the contraband drugs has also been seized.
A specific case under the relevant sections of the NDPS Act has been registered at Bagdogra Police Station and investigation is on.
