Siliguri: On 28.10.21, a Coordination meeting with different Puja Committees under Siliguri Police Commissionerate for the celebration of Kali Puja and Diwali festival was held today at Shivam Palace, Siliguri. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Gaurav Sharma IPS, CP Siliguri. Senior Police Officers, SDO Siliguri, IC’s and OC’s of all the Police Stations and Traffic Guards, representatives from Fire Brigade, WBSEDCL, SMC, NBD, Pollution Control Board, and representatives of different Puja Committees under Siliguri Police Commissionerate were present in the meeting.
The meeting was conducted on different agendas associated with the Celebration of Kali puja and the Dipawali festival maintaining the COVID Protocol.
Detailed discussion was done regarding filling of Online application form, Single window system, Traffic restrictions and Law and order duty for peaceful celebration of Kali Puja and Diwali festival.
A Single window system cum help desk will be opened at Mallaguri Police lines with effect from 29.10.2021 to 01.11.21 from 10:30 am to 4 pm to assist the Puja Committee members in filling up the online puja application forms.
