Siliguri: On 01.06.21 and 26.10.21 two Activa Scooties were stolen from Panitanki out Post area under Siliguri Police Station. Cases were registered upon the stolen scooties.
The Police carried investigation and after many efforts, on 29.10.21, the officers and men of Panitanki OP arrested one suspect namely Raju Singh of Gowalapatty, Ward No 4 under Siliguri Police Station, and took him into Police Remand.
During the remand period, the suspect confessed that he along with his accomplice had committed both the thefts, and leading to his statement both the stolen Scooties were recovered on 01.11.21.
Both the recovered scooties have been handed over to their registered owners namely Pradip Kundu and Bhushan Kumar Roy, by OC Panitanki OP.
