Siliguri : On 5.1.2023 acting on specific inteligence, Police Team of Pradhan Nagar Police Station intercepted and seized one Tata Ace Vehicle at Samar Nagar under Pradhan Nagar Police Station. On search of the vehicle the following quantity of sealed foreign liquor of different brands was loaded in the said vechile:
444 bottles of Royal Castle Blue Premium Whisky, 100 bottles of Royal Castle Blue Premium Whisky ( each bottle containing 750 ml), 122 bottles of Russel Premium Whisky ( each bottle containing750 ml).
The above noted articles were concealed in 28 pieces of plastic water pipes of different sizes loaded in the vechile. The contraband liquor and the vehicle has been seized. A specific case under relevant section has been started at Pradhan Nagar Police Station. Investigation is being carried out.
