Siliguri: On 6th August 2022 at around 1300 hours when Mr. Mandal and his wife were returning to their house, then near Khelaghar More one unknown biker snatched Mrs Mondal’s bag and fled away. He reported the matter to Siliguri Police Station. A team of Siliguri Police Station under ASI Mr. Siben Sarkar and ASI Mr. Debashish Das swung into quick action. After following a trail of evidences, they arrested one Kartik Karmakar of Suryasen Colony, NJP Police Station and recovered the stolen booty. The motorcycle used in the crime was also seized.
Today, Inspector Mr. Sudip Chakrabort, IC Siliguri Police Station returned the belongings to the victims.
