Hyderabad, Telangana: To ensure a safe and smooth celebration of Ganesh Festival 2025, Smt. Sneha Mehra, I.P.S., Deputy Commissioner of Police, South Zone, convened an inter-departmental coordination meeting at the South Zone Office on 20.08.2025.
The meeting was attended by Sri S. Srinivas Reddy, Zonal Commissioner (Charminar Zone), Sri Majeed, Addl. DCP South Zone, ACPs, GHMC officials, and senior officers from Sanitation, RTA, RTC, Water Works, Fire, Health, Sewerage, and R\&B Departments.
During the session, the DCP emphasized the importance of effective coordination to maintain sanitation, ensure public safety, strengthen surveillance, and provide uninterrupted civic utilities throughout the festival.
All participating departments extended their full support and pledged close cooperation with the police for the safe, harmonious, and grand conduct of Ganesh festival celebrations in the South Zone.
