Chikkamagaluru, Karnataka: Demonstrating proactive leadership and commitment to public safety, Dr. Vikram Amate, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Chikkamagaluru District, conducted a detailed briefing today at the District Armed Reserve (D.A.R.).
During the session, SP Dr. Amate provided clear guidance, strategic instructions, and motivational advice to all police officers and personnel deployed for bandobast arrangements for the Shobha Yatra procession, scheduled to take place in Chikkamagaluru city on 03.12.2025 as part of the Datta Jayanti celebrations.
He emphasized effective coordination, crowd management, traffic regulation, and emergency preparedness to ensure that the religious procession is conducted peacefully and smoothly. The SP also urged the officers to maintain discipline, alertness and a people-friendly approach throughout their duty.
The briefing boosted the morale of the deployed personnel, reinforcing the confidence that the Chikkamagaluru Police is fully prepared to ensure a safe and peaceful Datta Jayanti Shobha Yatra for devotees and the public.
