Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu: Tirunelveli district witnessed a comprehensive monthly review meeting held on April 9, 2026, at the Superintendent of Police office, under the leadership of District SP Dr. V. Prasanna Kumar, IPS. During the meeting, detailed discussions were held with police officials on key aspects including investigation of cases across the district, election security arrangements, pending cases, narcotics prevention measures, action against rowdy elements, and progress of court-related proceedings. Prior to the meeting, the District SP inspected all police vehicles, checked their operational condition and maintenance, and issued necessary instructions to ensure readiness. The meeting was attended by Additional Superintendents of Police, Deputy Superintendents of Police, and Inspectors, reflecting a coordinated effort to strengthen law enforcement and public safety.
