Davangere, Karnataka: Superintendent of Police Smt. Uma Prashant, IPS, appreciated the exemplary honesty of Watchman Manjappa, who handed over to the police a bag containing cash and important documents that he found near the Sri Sharadamba Temple in Davangere city.
Following police verification, the bag was subsequently returned to its rightful owner.
The SP noted that such responsible behavior reinforces trust between the public and the police and serves as an encouraging example for society.
