Nagapattinam, Tamil Nadu: As part of the Police Department’s ongoing efforts to strengthen citizen engagement and ensure prompt service delivery, a Public Grievance Redressal Camp was conducted on 14.10.2025 at the Nagapattinam District Police Office.
During the camp, Mr. S. Selvakumar, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Nagapattinam District, personally interacted with members of the public, patiently listened to their grievances, and received a total of 19 petitions on various issues related to law and order, public safety, and administrative matters.
The Superintendent of Police assured the petitioners that swift and fair action would be taken on all petitions and directed the station in-charge officers present to expedite the resolution process with transparency and accountability.
He further emphasized that such grievance redressal meetings will continue to be organized every Wednesday at the District Police Office to ensure regular public access to senior police officials and promote a people-friendly policing environment.
