Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh, October 6: As part of the Public Grievance Redressal Programme held at the District Police Office, District Superintendent of Police Sri K. Maheshwara Reddy, IPS, personally received and reviewed 36 petitions submitted by the public on various issues including civil disputes, family matters, property issues, and fraud cases.

Speaking on the occasion, the SP emphasized that it is the responsibility of every police officer to investigate and resolve petitions strictly in accordance with the law. He directed officials to take immediate and appropriate action to ensure justice to the petitioners.

During the program, Sri Maheshwara Reddy, IPS, interacted with each petitioner individually, listened to their concerns, and issued clear instructions to the concerned officers. In some cases, he directly contacted field officers over the phone to expedite the resolution process.

The SP also instructed all officials to submit action-taken reports on the petitions to the District Police Office within the stipulated timeframe.

The initiative reflects the Srikakulam District Police’s commitment to maintaining transparency, accountability, and prompt grievance redressal, ensuring that public trust in law enforcement continues to strengthen.
