Srikakulam: In a poignant ceremony, Srikakulam District SP Mrs. GR Radhika IPS personally handed over a significant financial aid of Rs.75,000/- to the bereaved family of the late Mr. D. Kesha Rao, ARHC – 1249, in Srikakulam. The solemn occasion was marked by the compassionate gesture aimed at providing some relief to the family grappling with the untimely demise of Mr. D. Kesha Rao, who served as a dedicated Head Constable in the Srikakulam District Armed Reserve Police Department. His passing was attributed to a prolonged illness that he valiantly battled.
Notably, in addition to the immediate financial support, SP Mrs. GR Radhika IPS took a proactive stance. She issued clear directives to the office staff, emphasizing the importance of expeditiously ensuring the timely disbursement of any remaining benefits owed to the grieving family. Acknowledging the public service rendered by Mr. D. Kesha Rao, the SP underscored the significance of honoring commitments to the families of those who dedicate their lives to public service.
It is noteworthy that the Government has already sanctioned both the Widow Fund and Flag Fund, a testament to the official recognition of the sacrifice made by Mr. D. Kesha Rao during his tenure.
