Andhra Pradesh, Anakapalli: District SP, Sri Tuhin Sinha, IPS, conducted a sudden inspection of Kasimkota Police Station. During the visit, he emphasized the importance of maintaining cleanliness in and around the station. He reviewed CD files of pending cases and provided guidance on their progress.
Addressing the surge in cybercrimes, the SP stressed the need for public vigilance and widespread awareness campaigns on crime prevention. To curb the illegal smuggling of marijuana, he directed authorities to conduct extensive inspections at Tallapalem Junction and implement sudden (dynamic) checks on other transport routes.
To prevent anti-social activities, he instructed the installation of CCTV cameras at major rallies and key locations, with public cooperation. Highlighting road safety, he emphasized the need for strict enforcement of helmet use for two-wheeler riders. Violators of traffic rules should face enforcement actions.
He also ordered special surveillance on rowdy elements and individuals engaged in illegal activities. Day and night patrols were mandated to curb thefts and other crimes.The SP interacted with the on-duty staff at the station, inquired about their challenges, and urged them to visit problematic areas regularly, ensuring strict action against illegal activities.
