Srikakulam: As part of the annual inspections, Srikakulam District SP Mrs. G.R. Radhika, IPS, visited Burja Police Station on Saturday morning and conducted a thorough review. The police station staff first paid their respects to the District SP. Following this, the District SP emphasized the importance of maintaining cleanliness around the station premises. She meticulously examined the station’s management records, inquired about ongoing case investigations, and provided directives for their progression.
She instructed the staff to treat victims and complainants with courtesy, respond positively, and ensure justice according to the law. The SP also advised taking measures to curb the purchase, sale, and illegal transportation of narcotics like natu sara and ganja, and to raise public awareness about the detrimental effects of drug use. Additionally, she urged officials to implement strategies to prevent road accidents.
