Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu: The monthly inspection meeting of the Tirunelveli District Police was held on September 4, 2025, at the District Police Office under the chairmanship of District Superintendent of Police N. Silambarasan, IPS.
The SP reviewed the progress of investigations, pending cases, and court proceedings across the district. He also inspected the maintenance of police vehicles, gave instructions to drivers, and addressed operational shortcomings.
In recognition of exemplary service, the SP presented certificates of appreciation to 58 personnel, including police officers, magistrates, and government prosecutors, who played a key role in speedily producing witnesses and securing convictions in murder, theft, and POCSO cases.
The initiative highlighted the district police’s commitment to effective case management, professionalism, and delivering justice swiftly.
