Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, May 13, 2025: A comprehensive monthly review meeting was held at the Tirunelveli District Police Office under the leadership of Superintendent of Police, Shri N. Silambarasan, IPS. The session brought together officers from across the district to evaluate law enforcement progress and strategize future action plans.
The SP conducted an in-depth review of all ongoing criminal investigations, emphasizing the need for expedited case closures and proactive policing. Special attention was given to combating drug trafficking, illegal sales, and maintaining public order across all subdivisions.
Prior to the meeting, SP Silambarasan personally inspected the district’s police vehicles, assessing their maintenance and readiness. He also interacted with the drivers, issued clear guidelines on vehicle upkeep, and ensured that transport units are in optimal condition to support emergency and field operations.
As a highlight of the day, commendation certificates were awarded to 180 police personnel in recognition of their exceptional service, discipline, and commitment to duty. SP Silambarasan appreciated their contribution to upholding the safety and security of the district and encouraged all officers to continue working with dedication and integrity.
