Ramanathapuram: On 30.06.2024, in connection with the theft of money and 6 kg of Sami’s silver armor from the administrative room bureau at Sri Periya Karungar Wodeyar Ayyanar Temple in Alankulam Village, under the jurisdiction of Uttarakhosamangai Police Station, Keelakara sub-division, Ramanathapuram District, a case was registered under Section 457 and 380. Acting on the order of the District Superintendent of Police to swiftly apprehend those involved in the theft, the Crime Branch of Keelakara sub-division arrested Parthiban, s/o Manickam from Alankulam; Selvakumar, s/o Senthilkumar from Lalgudi, Trichy; and Saravanan, s/o Mahalingam from Lalgudi, Trichy. The police seized cash amounting to Rs. 2,63,421/-, 4 cell phones, and 3 silver shields from the accused. The District Superintendent of Police, Mr. G. Sandish, IPS, highly commended the Crime Branch of Keelakara sub-division for arresting the criminals involved in this incident.
