Puri, Odisha, October 23, 2025: In view of the upcoming tourist season, a coordination meeting was convened under the chairmanship of Superintendent of Police, Puri, with hotel owners and association representatives to ensure a safe and seamless experience for all visitors.
During the meeting, SP Puri emphasized the importance of tourist safety, convenience, and effective coordination between the police and hospitality stakeholders. He urged hotel managements to maintain a high standard of vigilance, promptly share guest information as per legal requirements, and extend full cooperation in maintaining law and order.
The discussions also focused on enhancing emergency response systems, strengthening CCTV surveillance, and providing timely assistance to tourists in need. The SP highlighted that proactive collaboration between Puri Police and the hospitality sector plays a crucial role in preserving Puri’s reputation as one of India’s most revered and safe tourist destinations.
