DODDABALLAPUR: Mysuru Lokayukta SP Mr. Ravi Kumar’s final rites were held with full state honours on Thursday in Sasalu village in Karnataka. Mr. Ravi Kumar died during a car crash in Kumbalgodu Police limits. Mr. Seemant Kumar Singh, Inspector General of Police, Central Range, Mr. Vipul Kumar, Inspector General, Mysuru division, Mr. Talaiah, Deputy Commissioner and Mr. Amit Singh, Superintendent of Police (SP), attended the funeral. Ravi’s classmates and officials from Mysuru also attended the funeral, apart from senior police officers. The mortal remains of Ravi Kumar were taken in a procession before the burial. During the last rites several people were in tears when the last rites were performed. Mr. Ravi Kumar hailed from a farmer’s family. He completed his primary and secondary education at Sasalu village and completed his degree in Koratagere of Tumkuru district. After he completed his TCH and he worked as teacher for four years.
