HYDERABAD: There‘s a problem for speedsters and drunken drivers in Hyderabad. Laser speed guns (LSGs) and breathalysers to curb rash and drunken driving on the Outer Ring Road (ORR). This will be done by the Hyderabad Growth Corridor Limited (HGCL), a wing of Hyderabad Metro Development Authority (HMDA). Rachakonda and Cyberabad Police Commissioners have sought these gadgets. Tenders will be invited by the Rachakonda Police commissionerate in this regard soon said HGCL Managing Director Mr. B Anand Mohan. This is to keep an eye on vehicles entering the main expressway through ramps he said. Police patrol teams will be stationed near entry ramps to measure the blood alcohol content (BAC) of drivers.
