Delhi: The SPG (Special Protection Group) has lauded the security arrangements made by the Telangana police during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Muchhinthal. The same issue is now being debated at the national level. Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently visited Hyderabad for the first time since the security breach in Punjab. Authorities say the SPG director’s praise for the security arrangements made by the Cyberabad police for Prime Minister Modi on the occasion has boosted the reputation of the Telangana Police across the country. The President, Vice President, Prime Minister, and 12 Union Ministers participated in the 12-day Muchinthal Sri Ramanuja Millennium celebrations.
Security arrangements in Muchhinthal Sriramanagaram posed a challenge to the Telangana police during the arrival of several celebrities belonging to the Z Plus, Z category, and Y category. Cyberabad CP Mr. Stephen Ravindra has been focusing on security arrangements for celebrities since several days ago. Armed security measures were taken with 7,000 policemen. The manner in which the VIP Moment and the general public are balanced without any security failure is appreciated by all.
Mainly during Prime Minister Modi’s visit, SPG officials took control of the Muchhinthal premises three days in advance and supervised the security arrangements. Cyberabad police have taken security as Prime Minister Narendra Modi was on a one-day visit to Hyderabad along with Ikrishat and spent about five hours in Muchhinthal. From the time the Prime Minister landed at Shamshabad Airport from there to Ikrishat from Ikrishat to Muchhinthal and from Muchhinthal to the airport by road, all security was maintained with a definite plan without any hassle. The SPG Director-General lauded CP Mr. Stephen Ravindra of Cyberabad for overseeing the security arrangements.
SPG officials, with 260 cc cameras under integrated command control, along with 5,000 policemen along 14 routes from the Prime Minister’s entry to Yagsala, Ramanuja statue, laser show, and Poornaharati on the Prime Minister’s Route, were also spotted making arrangements to keep the ant away. Cyberabad CP Mr. Stephen Ravindra said that SPG had asked Cyberabad CP Mr. Stephen Ravindra to give them a security plan to cover the Prime Minister’s private tours as he had not seen such arrangements anywhere after the Prime Minister’s Security Breach in Punjab. Ikrishat also gave a special message thanking the security provided by the Cyberabad police.
BJP leaders also lauded the police for allowing 300 people to enter during the Prime Minister’s reception, Ikrishat’s reception, and farewell. According to the department officials, it was part of the Telangana police’s pre-plan to prevent any complaints or traffic jams from devotees or VIPs from February 2 to 14. According to the Telangana Police, 50 VIPs arrived for 12 days and security arrangements were made without any delay in terms of security.
