Thoothukudi: Among the direct assistant inspectors who completed one year training at the Chennai Police Higher Training Institute, 18 training SIs who reported for process training in Thoothukudi district have been appointed in various police stations by District Superintendent of Police Dr. L. Balaji Saravanan IPS, 927 candidates who passed the Direct Assistant Inspector Examination for the year 2021 completed their one-year training at the Tamil Nadu Police Higher Training Institute, Oonamanchery, Chennai.
Subsequently, 18 of those who completed the above training reported to the District Superintendent of Police, Tuticorin, for procedural training. 18 training assistant inspectors who will be trained in the above process have been appointed in various police stations in Thoothukudi district and District Superintendent of Police Dr. L. Balaji Saravanan IPS has issued the order.
Then the District Superintendent of Police should train the trainee SIs to learn all the duties in the police station from the post of constable to the post of SI. People should be treated with kindness and legal action should be taken against those involved in anti-social activities. He gave various advices including that the sale and smuggling of drugs like ganja and tobacco should be eradicated.
