Andhra Pradesh, Srikakulam: Demonstrating a strong commitment to public service and responsive policing, the Srikakulam District Police held a Public Grievance Reception and Resolution Program at the District SP Office, where a total of 79 petitions were received from citizens.
Acting under the guidance of District Superintendent of Police Sri KV Maheshwara Reddy, IPS, the program was overseen by Additional SP (Administration) Sri KV Ramana, who personally interacted with complainants, listened to their concerns, and assured them of timely justice and resolution.

Instructions were issued to handle every case in accordance with the law and to ensure fair and prompt action.
The Additional SP emphasized the importance of transparency, accountability, and sensitivity while dealing with public grievances. He stressed that no complaint should be ignored and that officers must prioritize resolution to uphold public trust in policing.
Furthermore, the officers were directed to submit detailed action reports on each petition to the District Police Office, ensuring that follow-up and accountability are embedded in the redressal mechanism.
