Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh: Srikakulam Police are intensifying vehicle inspections across the district as part of visible policing to ensure road safety and prevent accidents. Acting on the instructions of District SP Sri K.V. Maheswara Reddy, IPS, officers and staff conducted extensive checks on Sunday at various police station limits.
The drive focused on educating vehicle drivers about traffic rules, enforcing road safety measures, and curbing illegal activities on the roads. As part of accident prevention efforts, drunken driving tests were carried out and fines imposed on violators.
The initiative highlights Srikakulam Police’s commitment to safeguarding lives, promoting responsible driving, and maintaining discipline on the roads.
