Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh, July 9: Demonstrating their commitment to community welfare and public safety, Srikakulam Police organized impactful awareness programs under two key initiatives — Nari Shakti and Sankalpam.
Under the “Nari Shakti” campaign, officers educated the public on critical issues related to women’s safety, the importance and utility of the Shakti app, and measures to tackle online harassment and prevent child marriages. The initiative aimed to empower women through awareness and digital tools.
Simultaneously, the “Sankalpam” program focused on sensitizing the public—especially youth—about the dangers of drug abuse, cybercrimes, road safety norms, and accident prevention. The sessions received strong participation and positive feedback from the community.
These initiatives reflect the proactive approach of Srikakulam Police in fostering a safe, informed, and responsible society.
