Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh: Giving top priority to women’s safety, the Srikakulam District Police have launched an awareness initiative titled “Nari Shakti” under the guidance of District Superintendent of Police Sri K. Maheshwara Reddy, IPS.
As part of this program, police teams will reach out to villages and towns across the district to educate women and the public on various safety measures. The awareness drive will cover the importance and use of the Shakti app, issues of online harassment, cyber frauds, women-related laws, and child marriage prevention.
The initiative reflects the district police’s commitment to empowering women, building confidence, and ensuring a safer environment for all.
