Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh, July 24: Demonstrating swift action and vigilance, the Ichapuram Town Police apprehended two individuals in possession of 6.600 kg of ganja at Ichapuram Railway Station on Thursday at around 3:00 PM.
In addition to the narcotics, police also seized two mobile phones from the accused. A case has been registered, and further legal proceedings are underway.
Addressing the media at the Ichapuram Circle Office, Circle Inspector M. Chinnam Naidu praised the timely efforts of his team in curbing illegal drug trafficking and reaffirmed the department’s commitment to maintaining law and order in the region.
This successful operation underscores the Srikakulam Police’s continued efforts in combating narcotics and safeguarding the community from the dangers of drug abuse.
