Srikakulam: Srikakulam District’s newly appointed Superintendent of Police, Mr. K.V. Maheswara Reddy, IPS, attended the police parade held at the Etcherla District Armed Reserve Police Ground on Friday morning. This was his first appearance at the event since taking charge as the SP of Srikakulam District. The parade was a formal inspection and ceremonial gathering organized by the district’s police personnel.

Upon his arrival, SP Maheswara Reddy reviewed the parade, which included various units of the police force. He meticulously inspected the formations, observing the discipline and readiness of the personnel. In his address to the officers and staff, SP Maheswara Reddy emphasized the importance of discipline, dedication, and commitment in performing their duties. He highlighted that the police force’s primary responsibility is to maintain law and order, and this requires a high level of professionalism and integrity.

The District SP also reassured the personnel that their welfare would be a top priority during his tenure. He encouraged the personnel to voice their problems and assured them that the administration would take necessary steps to resolve them, thereby fostering a supportive and conducive working environment.

The parade was organized under the supervision of Additional SPG Prem Kajal, who ensured that the event proceeded smoothly. Other senior officers, including Garu, DSP L. Seshadri, Srinivasa Rao Garlu, CI Avataram, and representatives from the Armed Reserve (AR) and civil staff, were also in attendance. Their presence underscored the importance of the event and the collective commitment to upholding the standards of the police force.

The ceremony served as an opportunity for SP Maheswara Reddy to connect with his team and set the tone for his leadership. His message was clear: maintaining discipline and dedication is crucial, and the welfare of the police personnel is of utmost importance. The event concluded with a commitment to continue striving for excellence in serving the community and ensuring public safety.
