Uttarakhand, Almora: Comprehensive security arrangements have been put in place across all examination centers in Almora for the smooth and peaceful conduct of the CDS (I) and NDA & NA (I) 2025 written examinations, organized by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on April 13, 2025.
Under the strict directives of SSP Devendra Pincha, the Almora police are on high alert. An adequate police force has been deployed at every exam center, with all personnel instructed to remain vigilant throughout the examination process.

Intensive screening and frisking of candidates using DFMD (Door Frame Metal Detectors) and HHMD (Hand Held Metal Detectors).
Active monitoring by the District Intelligence Unit (LIU) and Special Operations Group (SOG) to track any suspicious activity that may influence the examination.
Rigorous checks to prevent the entry of mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, or any electronic gadgets into exam centers.
Round-the-clock surveillance through CCTV and additional cameras at examination venues.
Close monitoring of social media to identify and act against individuals spreading false information or rumors.
Regular inspection by zonal and sector officers, who are issuing necessary directions to on-duty personnel.
These measures aim to ensure a secure and fair examination environment across the district.
