Jammu and Kashmir, Anantnag: In a key step towards modernization and enhanced administrative efficiency, SSP Anantnag, Dr. G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy, inaugurated the Police Identity Card (PIC) Unit at District Police Lines (DPL) Anantnag. This new facility will serve the entire South Kashmir Range, streamlining the process of issuing identity cards to police personnel.
The inauguration was attended by SP Ops Anantnag, Shri Furqan Qadir, DySP Headquarters Anantnag, Shri Mohammad Ayouib Rather, DySP DAR Anantnag, Shri Rouf Baba, and other senior district police officers.
The PIC Unit is designed to improve operational coordination, ensure precise record-keeping, and strengthen security measures across the South Kashmir Range. By centralizing the process, this initiative aims to enhance efficiency and the overall effectiveness of the police force.
This development represents a significant milestone in the ongoing efforts to modernize police infrastructure and optimize administrative processes in South Kashmir.
