SSP Kupwara held interaction Meeting with Jawans at District Police Lines Kupwara

Kupwara: With an aim to enquire about well-being and redress the personal as well as professional grievances confronting the jawans and officials, today an interaction meeting with jawans of Police District Kupwara was held by SSP Kupwara Dr.G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy-IPS at DPL, Kupwara. DYSP DAR Kupwara Mr. Sarfaraz Bashir JKPS and other officers of District Police Kupwara were also present during the interaction.

SSP Kupwara in his address to the jawans asked them to effectively focus on their duties so that the nefarious designs of anti-social elements could be well checked.

He stressed upon all officers and officials to gain public confidence, goodwill and always be compassionate and helpful to the needy people. He advised them to attend to the genuine grievances of the people. He also said that people’s cooperation is necessary for making the environment peaceful.

He exhorted upon officers and jawans to keep doing good work with sincere efforts and be alert while performing duties. He also appreciated the role of the Kupwara police during the COVID-19 pandemic.

On the occasion, SSP Kupwara stressed that the Officers/Officials should follow the COVID-19 SOPs issued by the Government and asked them to be both physically and mentally prepared in view of the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic besides counter any challenge and deal with any type of eventuality professionally.

With regard to welfare measures of the officials, they were heard passionately and were assured that due care will be taken in this aspect too.

Further SSP Kupwara distributed Personal Protective COVID Kits among Officers/Officials of DPL Kupwara.

The interactive proceedings concluded with best wishes for all officers and officials of District Police Kupwara.
