Under no circumstances should children or adults cross rivers, bathe in rivers or other bodies of water, or go fishing during heavy rains. Don’t go on the overpasses above the water bodies to enjoy the view, take selfies or crowd around. Keep away from walls, hill slopes and earth mounds as there is a possibility of landslides during monsoons. Important helpline numbers including police and fire should be saved in the mobile phone or written down somewhere. In the event of an emergency, call the police or the fire department immediately.
