East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh: In view of the ongoing Intermediate and Tenth Standard public examinations, the East Godavari District Police has announced stringent measures to ensure a peaceful and disturbance-free environment for students.
District Superintendent of Police D. Narasimha Kishore, IPS, stated that strict action will be taken against loud noise pollution that may cause inconvenience to students preparing for and attending examinations. Activities such as DJs, orchestras, dance programmes, public functions, and stage shows will not be permitted without prior approval from the police.
To facilitate smooth movement, the public has been urged to strictly adhere to traffic rules and cooperate with authorities so that students can reach their examination centres on time without difficulty.
Section 144 will be enforced at all examination centres to prevent unlawful assembly and maintain order. Additionally, xerox centres located near examination venues will remain closed during exam hours as a precautionary measure.
The District Police have deployed adequate security personnel at all examination centres to ensure the written examinations are conducted smoothly and without interruption. Authorities have warned that criminal cases will be registered against those violating the guidelines.
The proactive measures undertaken by the district police reflect their commitment to safeguarding students’ interests and maintaining law and order during the crucial examination period.
