Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh: Under the directions of District Superintendent of Police Sri G. Bindu Madhav, IPS, the Kakinada District Police have intensified road safety measures to prevent accidents. As part of this initiative, police teams are conducting Stop, Wash & Go drives and Drink and Drive checks on major roads falling under the limits of various police stations.
These special enforcement drives aim to ensure vehicle roadworthiness, discourage drunken driving, and promote safe and disciplined driving habits among motorists. The district police have appealed to the public to cooperate with the checks and strictly follow traffic rules to help reduce road accidents and ensure safer roads for all.
