Kottayam: In Kottayam, the SPC project of the district and DONBOSCO BREADS DREAM project collaborated to conduct a training program on child drug abuse for teachers. The inauguration of the “Substance Abuse Among Children” program took place at Kottayam Mount Carmel Girls Higher Secondary School, with District Police Chief K. Karthik IPS leading the ceremony. The event saw the participation of approximately 90 teachers from various schools in the district, along with key figures such as SPC District Nodal Officer C. John, Narcotics Cell DYSP OD Jayakumar, Dream Project Resource Persons Greeshma Joseph and Annette Elsa John, and Father Jose. SDB (Don Bosco, Pudupally). Clinical psychologist Akshay K. Varki facilitated the class.
