Chikkamagaluru, Karnataka : In a commendable community outreach initiative, PSI of Tarikere Police Station engaged with students of the Government Pre-University College, Tarikere, creating awareness on a range of important safety and crime-prevention topics.
During the interactive session, the PSI educated students about the ill effects of drug abuse, the growing threats of cybercrimes, and the importance of road safety. The students were also informed about the door-to-door police awareness programs being implemented in the region.
In addition, the officer highlighted the significance of the 112 Emergency Helpline, explaining how it enables citizens to access immediate police, fire, and medical assistance.
The initiative reflects the Tarikere Police’s commitment to guiding youth, building trust, and promoting a safe and aware community.
