Kamrup: Kamrup Rural district; is an administrative district in the state of Assam in India formed by dividing the old Kamrup district into two in the year 2003; other being Kamrup Metropolitan district, named after the region it constitutes.
A number of complaints were received by the Officer in Charge Chaygaon Police Station, Sub-Inspector Mr. Kapil Pathak regarding the theft of motorcycles. The police officers were investigating the cases that were received from the complain-tents. During investigation Officer in Charge Chaygaon Police Station, Sub-Inspector Mr. Kapil Pathak conducted raids at different places and recovered five stolen motorcycles. During the raids, five wanted vehicle lifters were apprehended by the police.
