Kerala: The Sub Inspector of Police was stabbed in the face by the accused when the police officer came to arrest him. The Police came to arrest the accused because he had attempted murder. Even though the accused attacked the police officer who came to arrest him the accused was arrested and taken into police custody not only for murder attempt but also for attacking the officer on duty and preventing the officer from performing his duties.
The Sub Inspector was admitted to the hospital and is being treated for the injuries caused by the accused. The police said that we are responsible for the safety of each and every one of you. Whatever happens, we will fulfill our duty.
