Andhra Pradesh, Anakapalli, April 19: In a proactive move to maintain law and order, the Anakapalli District Police, under the direction of District Superintendent of Police Sri Tuhin Sinha, IPS, conducted surprise inspections across hotels and lodges in the district.
The checks involved verification of guest details, inspection of logbooks, and review of identification protocols to ensure strict compliance with safety norms. Lodge owners were instructed to adhere to established guidelines without exception.
SP Sri Tuhin Sinha emphasized that the initiative aims to enhance women’s safety, maintain peace, and deter illegal activities. He stated that these inspections also help monitor the presence of suspects and individuals involved in suspicious behavior.
Police officials warned that such operations will continue more rigorously, and strict legal action will be taken against those violating the rules.
The public has welcomed this initiative as a strong step towards ensuring safety and security in the district.
