Tamil Nadu, Tenkasi: Mr.V.R.Srinivasan, Superintendent of Police, Tenkasi District, conducted a surprise inspection at Ayyapuram Police Station, Tenkasi District. In this, he examined the important files of the police station and the armory. Then he gave instructions on how to behave politely to the public and the procedures to be followed by the police while on duty. While the District Superintendent of Police was giving instructions, suddenly the phone of the police station rang, Mrs. Murugeswari, First Level Constable – 1318 picked up the phone and immediately informed the patrolling officer and sent him to the spot. Noticing this, the District Superintendent of Police appreciated the action of female constable Murugeswari who took immediate action without ignoring the phone call that came to the station while they were giving instructions and immediately rewarded her. This action of the District Superintendent of Police was well received among the police.
