Tenkasi: On the complaint filed by a person named Murugesan from the area that mysterious persons have stolen money from the piggy bank of the Goddess Amman temple in Domkulam Amman Temple within the limits of Surandai Police Station, Tenkasi District. When Sub-Inspector Mr. Sorimuthu, investigated the theft, it was revealed that a person named Mather (19), son of Bir Mydeen from Sampavar Vadakarai area, was involved in the theft. A case was registered against him and he was arrested and imprisoned. It is also to be noted that cases have already been registered against the said Mather in Surandai, Sampawar Vadakarai and Ayikudi police stations for his involvement in theft incidents.
