Kolkata: An awareness campaign under the banner of “SVEEP” was conducted today by the North 24 Parganas district authority at Derozio College. The event saw the presence of notable figures including Mr. Gaurav Sharma, IPS, CP Bidhannagar, Mr. Badana Varun Chandra Sekhar, IPS, Jt. CP (HQ) Bidhannagar, Mr. Manav Singla, IPS, DC New Town, Mr. Tauseef Ali Azhar, IPS, DC SB, Mr. Nima Norbu Bhutia, IPS, DC Traffic, alongside other senior officers and esteemed DM of North Parganas, accompanied by SDO Bidhannagar and other senior officers. Mr. Sumit Agarwal, District SVEEP Icon, led the program aimed at enhancing voter education and raising awareness among students about their rights and responsibilities regarding voting.
